A story of an amaizing dog
by Dr .Evgeni Gadzhev and Hristina Gadzheva

"The perfect human would have the attitude of a dog -- loving, loyal, happy, protective, faithful and honest. I wish I could be more like my dogs because every day is the best day of their life. Dogs are amazing." -- Kate Sokolewicz
This is our girl, Jersey, a four year old American Bulldog. We met her for the first time in 2009 when she walked in the clinic we both worked at as an emergency case. She was very sick and required urgent surgery and days of hospitalization. Her owners just had a baby and couldn’t afford to pay for her treatment. Without hesitation, we decided to rescue her. She had her surgery and spent 3 additional days in the hospital recovering and getting ready for her new life. Then she entered our home and hearts to become our pet forever. Since then, she has been part of our family, our best friend and a true companion. She is perfectly willing to walk with us through life, to comfort us in all difficult moments and to greet us joyfully every time we come home. She is always in a mood to cuddle, always enjoys long walks and never complains when left alone in her kennel. She is loyal and loves us unconditionally and doesn’t ask for much in return. She only wants to be fed, walked and told she’s good, and most of all loved. Then she is happy and grateful.
We love her for bringing smiles and warmth in our life, for her loyalty and for being such a great pet!
"There is nothing like the love of a dog. All of mine are rescues, two having been abused, yet the first day they trusted me with all their hearts. Dogs are unique in that they're nothing like humans; they can go through hell, yet forgive easily and they put their human before themselves. That kind of love is the best feeling in the world. I only hope I can sufficiently repay them." -- Heather Delmas

My beautiful, adorable black kitty Edward came into my life with his sister Bella when they were 3 months old, we adopted them from the SPCA. Edward was a bit unhealthy but we took great care of him and Bella and he quickly bounced back. Him and Bella weren't very good at jumping and would always fall when they tried (until we brought home Diego about 7 months later, After watching him they eventually learned from their little brother). When Edward was little, and I was sitting on my vanity stool, he would jump from my bed and onto my shoulder where he would sit and purr. Edward and I would always sit at the kitchen island together, where I have to pull out a stool just for him and we just talk and cuddle.
Edward always has the best greetings when you walk in the door, he is all over you and just so happy to be there. Whenever I lay on the couch he is the first one out of my 4 cats to jump on my lap or stomach and purr and get pets and kisses. Edward and I have been best friends since him and his sister joined my family. He is the sweetest cat I have ever met and would never hurt a fly. I would give anything to have had more time with my little man but I know I am so lucky to have gotten to spend an amazing 5 years with him. As they say "it is better to have loved and lost then to have never loved at all". Thank you Edward for being so amazing and for letting us pamper you and give you the life you deserve. What does Edward mean to me? Edward means the world to me and I am so happy that I will always be able to call him mine. Rest in peace my little angel. I will see you at the Rainbow Bridge where I am sure you are waiting with My Odette and My Cubby. Take care of each other up there! -- Briand Ottway
